Teaching and Learning Conference Registration

Early Registration for the 2010 Teaching and Learning Conference is now open! Please send any questions to teaching@apsanet.org.

The 2010 APSA Teaching and Learning Conference will be held in Philadelphia, PA from February 5-7, 2010.  The theme of the meeting is "Advancing Excellence in Teaching Political Science."

How to Register

You must preregister for this conference. Like presenters, non-presenting participants (discussants) register for and follow a single track and should stay with their chosen track for the duration of the conference.  Space in each track is limited; slots are available on a first-come-first-serve basis until filled.  The registration process is completely online. To register:

  • Go to www.apsanet.org and use the myAPSA/DSPonline login login boxes above to login to your MyAPSA screen.
  • Scroll to the TLC Registration section of the page and click the registration link.
  • Check and update (if needed) your personal information.
  • Follow the registration instructions as displayed and enter required information.
  • Complete registration payment process.

Your registration receipt will be available online in 2 to 3 business days, once APSA manually processes the payment in the APSA membership office.

Registration Fees and Refunds

Due to the format of the conference, advanced registration is strongly encouraged. The registration cost includes your place in a chosen track and participation in workshops presented throughout the conference.

APSA will not be able to refund registration payments. Because active participation is vital to the success of this conference, and attendance space is limited, the APSA Council enacted a no-refund policy to encourage registrants to fulfill their obligations to attend the meeting. As a consequence, APSA cannot refund your registration payment if you are unable to attend the 2010 Teaching and Learning Conference. APSA understands, that many more people would like to attend the Teaching and Learning Conference than the working group format can effectively accommodate. Therefore, please be sure to finalize your plans to attend the conference before you register.
