Advisory Committee

The Congressional Fellowship Advisory Committee plays an active role in the direction of the fellowship. Members meet formally once a year to review program finances. They also meet throughout the year to discuss major initiatives.

The Committee currently consists of twenty eight members (including the fellowship Director), eight of whom are former Fellows. It also includes four sitting Members of Congress: a Democratic and Republican senator, and a Democratic and Republican representative. The Committee's diverse composition, ranging from academics and journalists to lobbyists and Members, is meant to both enhance and reflect the fellowship's success.
