The American Political Science Association is the world's leading professional organization for the study of political science and engages in a range of international activities that enrich it's work and that of the community of scholars which comprise it.

APSA actively pursues ways to broaden its international partnerships, provide better access to its benefits for non-U.S. scholars, and facilitate cross-national research by its members.

Recent and Ongoing Initiatives International Participation in the Congressional Fellowship Program  2003 International Member Survey  International Membership As of Januaryr 2008 2,033 APSA members resided outside the United States. This comprises roughly 13 percent of the total membership of the Association.
