APSA Grant & Fellowship Programs
- Congressional Fellowship Program the oldest and most prestigious congressional fellowship devoted to its original objective of expanding knowledge and awareness of Congress. For nine months, select political scientists, journalists, doctors, federal executives and international scholars gain "hands on" understanding of the legislative process by serving on congressional staffs.
- Minority Fellows Program a fellowship competition designed to increase the number of minority Ph.D.'s in political science and to encourage institutions to provide financial assistance to them.
- Small Research Grant Program This APSA grant program supports research conducted by faculty at non Ph.D. granting institutions that have funding sources available for faculty research.
- Centennial Center Visiting Scholars The APSA Centennial Center assists scholars from the United States and abroad whose research and teaching would benefit from a stay in Washington, D.C. and access to the incomparable resources that are available in the nation's capital.
APSA Supplemental Research Support The Association offers the following supplementary research support

Fund For Latino Scholarship: This fund provides support to individuals or programs that promote the recruitment, retention, and promotion of Latino and Latina political scientists. The fund also provides travel grants to support research work or presentations.

Warren E. Miller Fellowship in Electoral Politics: This fund provides supplemental support for research residencies in national and comparative electoral politics at the Centennial Center.

Special Fund for the Study of Women and Politics: This fund provides supplemental support for the study of women and politics to both resident and non-resident scholars.

The Presidency Research Fund: This fund provides supplemental support for examination of the presidency for both resident and non-resident scholars.

Marguerite Ross Barnett Fund: This fund supports research on issues of diversity, cultural nationalism, African-American voting behavior, educational policy, and urban and minority politics for resident or non-resident scholars.

Paul Volcker Endowment: This fund provides support in research and theory building on public administration issues affecting governance in the U.S. and abroad for resident or non-resident scholars.

Huang Hsing Foundation Chun-tu Hsueh Fellowship for International Scholars: This fund provides supplemental support for Centennial Center residencies by international scholars, especially those from the People's Republic of China.

Rita Mae Kelly Endowment Fellowship: The Rita Mae Kelly Endowment Fellowship supports research on the intersection of gender, race, ethnicity, and political power.
