About Short Courses

Each year, APSA hosts a professional day on the Wednesday prior to the start of the Meeting. On that day, organized sections and related groups may offer a variety of short courses.  Short courses are half- or full-day sessions that provide opportunities for APSA attendees to enhance their knowledge and to reinvigorate teaching and research skills.  

Short courses are organized by APSA Organized Sections, Related Groups, and other non-APSA affiliated organizations.  Locations, registration, and other details are all handled by the organizers themselves. To participate in a Short Course, you must register for it prior to the Annual Meeting.
