APSA is governed by 31 elected Council Members and Officers, while everyday operations are overseen by the Executive Director and supported by APSA staff. The Council serves as the APSA governing body, setting the strategic direction and vision of the association, monitoring its ongoing operation, making policies, approving appointments and budgetary decisions, and generally providing oversight, guidance, and advice.
