National Science Foundation
APSA is a member of the Consortium of Social Science Associations (COSSA). Each year, APSA participates in COSSA’s Advocacy Day, which brings scholars to Capitol Hill to discuss the importance of research across the social sciences and express support for strong funding for social science within the National Science Foundation and other federal agencies. COSSA created a Take Action page for the public to easily express support for the social sciences to Congress.
APSA is a member of the Coalition for National Science Funding (CNSF), an advocacy coalition dedicated to supporting robust funding for NSF through the Congressional appropriations process.
