John Sprague Award
This award, issued by the Political Networks Section of the APSA, is given annually to the best paper on political networks presented by a graduate student at a political science conference in the previous year. The award includes a cash prize of $250. Nominations should be sent to all three committee members by the nomination deadline. Self-nominations will be accepted. All nominations should include a paragraph motivating the nomination. Late nominations will not be accepted. Deadline for nominations: April 4, 2027

Political Ties Award
The APSA organized section on Political Networks is seeking nominations for the Political Ties Award. This award is given annually to the best article published on the subject of political networks. Nominees must have been published — either on-line or in print — in a peer-reviewed journal between January 1st and December 31st of 2026. Nominations should be sent to all three committee members by the nomination deadline. Self-nominations will be accepted. All nominations should include a paragraph motivating the nomination. Late nominations will not be accepted. Deadline for nominations: April 4, 2027
