At the Annual Business Meeting members are invited to hear reports from the Officers of the Association, and to propose and discuss matters of importance to the Association. The 2026 APSA Annual Business Meeting will be held September 3, 12:30 to 2:00pm ET during the 2026 Annual Meeting in Boston, MA.

Rules and Procedures

For information about the rules and procedures of the Annual Business meeting, including procedures for introducing a resolution to send to Council, see the Rules for the Annual Business Meeting and the APSA bylaws. All resolutions to be considered at the Annual Business Meeting must be presented to the president and publicly announced at least 21 days prior to the meeting.

APSA Council Election

As stipulated in APSA’s bylaws the election for the 2026 APSA Council and officers will be held via electronic ballot, and will not occur at the Annual Business Meeting. You can find more information on the APSA elections here.
