How to Apply to Be an APSA Mentee
STEP ONE

Create a free MyAPSA account online.
Note: If you already have a MyAPSA account, skip this section and go straight to step two.
1. Click on “Login” at the top of the APSA homepage (www.apsanet.org).
2. Click on “Register Now!” below the Sign In fields.
3. Enter your email address in the field and click “Register Account.” a. If you already have an account with this email address, you’ll get an email to confirm this. b. If you don’t have any account, you’ll be directed to a registration page.
4. Fill out all required fields and click “Register Account” again.

 

STEP TWO

Login to MyAPSA
1. Click on “Login” at the top of the APSA homepage (www.apsanet.org).
2. Enter your username and password into the field.
3. Click the green “Sign In” button.

 

STEP THREE

Complete the Mentee Application Form
1. Navigate to the Mentee Application at http://www.apsanet.org/DIVERSITY/APSAMentoring-Program/Mentee-Application.
2. Click the green “Apply” button.
3. Click the green “+ Add New” button.
4. Carefully fill out all fields. Note that many fields are required.
5. Once all questions are complete, click the green “Save” button. a. Note: if the page does not change, you have missed a required field. Scroll up and fill in the required field.
6. You are not quite finished, but now you will be able to see the form you just completed. a. If you need to return to edit it, you can do so by clicking the pencil and paper icon below “Edit.” b. If you are ready to submit, click the blue checkmark icon below “Submit.” The checkmark should turn green.
7. You will receive a confirmation email indicating that your application has been submitted.
